PapersEvery paper is graded. This grade is dependant on the amount of light that is reflected from the paper. Essentially this means that papers are graded according to the brightness levels. This is true for all manner of paper including copier and laser papers. Copier papers are the largest category in the printing paper grade referred to as uncoated commodity. Copiers and laser papers, more often than not use 8-1/2” x 11” paper, but there are other sizes available in the market like 11” x 17” and 8-1/2” x 14”. The copier machines are calibrated with a definite thickness of the copier and laser papers. Copier papers that are used on a more regular basis, generally weigh 20 lbs.. Slowly and surely the concept of recycled copier and laser papers is gaining popularity. Such recycled paper is impossible to tell apart form non-recycled in terms of color, cost, and performance. It is of primary importance that you choose standardized copier papers that increase the efficiency of your machines.
