Copier News » November 2006HP Launches New Series Of Laser Printers In The Indian Market Globally renowned for its exceptional printers, digital cameras, televisions, and desktop computers, HP, one of the leading players in the document industry, recently launched its new series of multi-function laser printers in the Indian market in the form of the M 3035, M 3027 and the M 3435 series. These three separate series available in over a dozen models, HP’s new laser printers will offer new competition to their traditional counterparts with their terrific ability to print, fax and scan at a rapid speed that was unheard till now. With the wholesale launch of this new series of laser printers, the company is looking forward to carve up the global copier industry. The company’s share in the international market is 10 percent dominated by its office solutions. HP also holds a 42 percent share of the Indian multi-function printers (MFP) market and is planning to introduce major changes in its offerings to further strengthen its lead in the office solutions market. The company also stepped into the field of software solutions with the launch of Web Jetadmin, a new software facilitating enterprises in an intimate monitoring of printer performance. The M 5035 is the fastest desktop printer available in the wide format and copyies at the speed of 35 pages per minute. On the other side, M 3435 Multifunction printer series is bestowed with an additional facility for direct digital sharing of documents.
